- What is Storat lead generation program?

Storat.com is an online marketplace to post and advertise about products & services. It is free to post unlimited number of products and services in all categories on Storat. Sellers pay only if they receive genuine leads and inquiries from potential buyers.


- What is a lead?

A lead is a genuine inquiry from a potential customer looking to buy your services or products. Potential new customers (leads) can contact you by phone, email, claim discount vouchers, or through a booking a service.


- What is the price per lead?

The price per lead is determined by the category of listing and\or category of store. For example, in UAE, classifieds category price per lead is around AED 2, while in Medical Centers category, the price per lead is around AED 50. For latest lead prices, please check lead prices table in your private dashboard.

- If I get multiple inquiries or calls from the same customer, will you charge me for each call or inquiry?

No, inquiries and leads from the same phone or the same email will be charged once if the inquiry or lead is within 30 days period. Check your billing transactions in the billing section in your private dashboard and you will notice that repeated leads are logged with 0 charge.


- If I receive leads or inquiries that are irrelevant to my products or service, are you going to charge me?

If the leads you received are irrelevant, please submit a dispute with the list of irrelevant leads to support@storat.com. Your dispute will be resolved within 3 business days. if we determine the leads are irrelevant, your account will be credited back.


- I don't want to pay per lead, do you have other programs?

Yes, we offer monthly subscriptions were a seller pay a monthly subscription fee and gets unlimited number of leads. please contact us at sell@storat.com to know more about our subscription program.


- I want my listings to be featured on top of the category pages. Where is featured and VIP listings?

Featured and VIP listings on top of category pages are available for customers enrolled in one of Storat subscription programs or prepaying customers. If you want your listings to be featured on top, please send an email to sell@storat.com


- I want to list my store as a Banner on top of a category page?

If you wish to have your banners on a category page, please send an email to sell@storat.com and one of our sales associates will contact you.


- Why do I have a different phone number than my actual number on my store and ad pages?

In the United Arab Emirates, we have made an agreement with telecom operators to assign Virtual Phone Numbers to stores. There are many advantages to this including protecting the privacy of sellers and better tracking of leads by the sellers. We have started the Virtual Number program in January 2018 and we will be rolling it to all sellers in 2018.


- Is there a charge for the Virtual Number?

If the virtual number is connecting to a land line, there is no additional charges per lead. If the Virtual number is connected to a mobile, there will be a charge of AED 0.32 per minute. The additional per minute charges will show on your transactions in billing sections.


- I don't want a virtual number on my store or listings, I want my real number to show?

This feature is available for sellers enrolled under the monthly or annual subscription program. Please contact us at sell@storat.com to know more about our subscription programs.


- How do I pay for leads?

To pay for leads, visit your billing section in your private dashboard then:

  1. Add your credit card.
  2. Fill your account with a balance to start receiving leads.

- Do you store my credit card information?

No, we don't store any customer credit card or financial information in any of our systems. We have made an agreement with checkout.com, a leading provider of payment gateway services to ensure that. When you add your card, the information is transmitted securely to checkout.com without saving it in our systems. What is saved is a Credit Card ID that can be used only to fill your account in Storat.com. It can't be used for any other purpose. - Can I set my account to automatically fill my balance or automatically charge my credit card?

No, if your account balance is in negative or 0, you will have to fill it up manually using the private dashboard. If your account balance is negative, your lead generation services will be stopped, but your credit card will never be charged for the negative balance. You will have to fill up your balance manually using the billing section in the private dashboard.


- I want to upgrade my store to a website at my own domain. How can I do that, and what is the price?

You can upgrade your store to a website using Storat Website Solutions from the comfort of your own private dashboard under build a website section. It is free to build a website. You only need to buy a domain. If you need help configuring your website, please send an email to support@storat.com.


- I want to be able to sell online. Can I upgrade my store and website to e-Commerce Edition?

Storat.com E-Commerce edition is planned for launch in the second half of 2018. If you are interested to enroll in the early adopter program, please send us an email to sell@storat.com.
